Dog Show Postponed due to the Adverse Weather

It's not often that the weather has an effect on what happens at North Clwyd Animal Rescue, after all you can't tell a dog that it's too wet to take it out, but when it comes to the Annual Dog Show, which was to be held this Saturday (7th July), things change - after all, the dogs at the show want to look their best and a 'drowned' look coupled with muddy paws and legs does nothing for 'that special look'.

So when the weather forecasters said that we were about to get a month's rainfall in two days decisions had to be made!!

Since the ground was already sodden and despite efforts to ensure we had more marquees available than ever before reluctantly, the decision was taken to postpone the Dog Show.

We are really sorry to have had to done so and have done our best to let as many people as we possibly can know, so if you were coming or know someone that was coming, then please let them know.

We will be announcing the re-scheduled date as soon as possible so watch this space.  If this weather continues maybe we should look at an ark building competition instead!!
