NCAR Dogs help 'Grand Design'

When the TV programme 'Grand Designs' wanted some dogs to to appear in a show to be filmed in Broughton, NCAR was the obvious choice.


The TV Show hosted by Kevin McCloud came to Broughton to film a social enterprise, set up locally, called Active Bio Systems which turn dog mess into bio gas through anaerobic digestion. Apparently it is possible to make two cups of tea from the energy created by one bag of poo. The programme will be aired on Channel 4's Grand Designs Show later in the autumn, keep an eye on this blog to find out when.
